We built what didn't exist — a dedicated home for Black families searching for senior care that honors who they are.
Why We Built This
When Black families search for senior care for their parents and grandparents, they're not just looking for a facility — they're looking for a place where their loved ones will feel seen, respected, and at home. A place that understands their culture, their food, their traditions, and their dignity.
That resource didn't exist. Generic senior care directories listed thousands of facilities with no cultural context, no community identity, and no way to find Black-owned providers. BlackSeniorCare.com was built to change that.
What We Do
We maintain a comprehensive, free-to-search directory of senior care facilities across 25 major US cities — with the highest concentrations of Black Americans. Our listings include assisted living communities, nursing homes, memory care centers, adult day care, and in-home care providers.
Our Black Owned Verified badge identifies facilities that are owned and operated by Black entrepreneurs committed to serving their communities. It's the only verification of its kind in the senior care industry.
